HOW TO BECOME A MILLIONAIRE BUILDING POWERFUL BLOG SITES

INTRODUCTION.

Website design still remains one of the easiest ways to make quick money online and the most amazing phenomenon is that it is getting easier every single day with more powerful and flexible tools showing up every each passing day.

Today, I want to reveal to you how to easily carve a niche for yourself and make money by building powerful blog sites for Authors, Speakers, Pastors, and Public Office Holders etc. using one of the easiest to use tools available on the internet today but before I proceed, let me run you through my basic analysis.

·        Basic Learning Time 24-48 hours.

·        Getting Good 2-6 Months.

·        Cost Price Per Job $10-$20 (less than N5, 000).

·        Average Selling Price N15, 000.

·        Average Profit N10, 000.

·        Job Turn-Around Time 5 hours for masters, 3-5 days for beginners.

Can you really, honestly get 100 customers before year ends? Yes. I believe that you can because, each job you do well will speak for you and you will also get further referrals for fresh jobs plus you will equally charge your customers not based on the baseline average price I just used but based on perceived ability to pay. Which means that one customer can pay N15, 000 while another may pay    N50, 000 for the same job. The only difference is in how far you will go with the jobs which you will learn as you work on more and more sites.

ARE YOU READY TO GET STARTED? LET’S RIDE!

The advent of blogs online forever changed the website design terrain because for the first time, people with zero technical skills, could point and click…then CRACK!-that is have a smashing website. The confusion for most people has always been the question: “Is A Blog A Website?-My answer is a riveting YES!

When blogs came, suddenly even a Bum on the street had the power to put up a website in minutes and leading this revolution is that powerful and wonderful blogging software called WORDPRESS.

In the beginning, I remember clearly my first set of blogs way back-you still had to have a little bit of technical knowledge to work this software.

For instance, I remember I used to do a manual set-up, which means that I had to create my database, upload and download my files, CHMOD and set file permissions, and then I had to dig into the PHP scripts to do the manual configurations of database settings blah. blah...Heck! I enjoyed it now but looking back then, it was too much work!

Today, you don’t need to know a single line of all these gymnastics I just went through. All you need is to register a domain name, grab a webhosting account tie the two, login to your control panel and in 3 minutes you have your blog up and running. No problems, no worries. Let me show you a few examples.

Stop reading now and go to http://wisdomporch.com, http://loveporch.com,    http://hulktraffic.com and take a closer look at those sites. I am showing you because, they look great and you will think that it took such a long time and work to build but no Sir. They are all blogs and I can do any of those websites in 1hour while chatting with my fine babe. No joke!

TO MAKE MONEY WITH THIS THING CALLED BLOGS; HERE ARE THE STEPS THAT YOU CAN TAKE;

1.     Learn about blogs.

2.     Learn how to work with blogs.

3.     Improve your speed of working with blogs.

4.     Identify your potential customers.

5.     Create your pricing scale.

6.     Contact your potential customers.

7.     Get your first jobs and leverage on it.

(The list isn’t arranged in any order of importance. Please, order it yourself)

LEARNING ABOUT BLOGS (WORD PRESS).

I will try to cover as much as I can here but definitely, you will need to do a little more digging on your own.

WORD PRESS is a free blogging tool that is already available for a quick point-and-click install inside most webhosting accounts and aside from the installation you need to know the following three basic things about blogs.

1.     Learn how to use blog.

2.     Learn how to customize Blog.

3.     Learn how to use blog plug-ins.

LEARN HOW TO USE BLOGS.

Before you set out to start getting jobs, learn how to use blogs. Especially, how to make posts, manage users, post videos, insert images etc. these are the basic things that you have to do with your blogs, so learn them. I don’t see any sense in trying to get a job when you cannot use the tool with which the job is to be done.

LEARN HOW TO CUSTOMIZE BLOGS.

All blogs look alike on the first installation. This is the default setting and you need to know how to work your way around customizing the blogs you do. So that even if you work on 1, 000 blogs, you can have a unique new feel for each one, each time and the key to doing this are the word press themes.

WORD PRESS THEMES are pre-made designs which you install in minutes and it switches the whole of your word press blog like magic into a new fresh design, radically different from what was formerly obtainable just like you waved a magic wand of some sort. Once this is installed, you then go a step further into adding your custom logo, theme etc.

A few examples of places to find free word press themes are;

Just do a search on any search engine for word press themes and you will get more sources.

LEARN HOW TO USE BLOG PLUG-INS.

They are tools that help you to extend your basic blog functions for instance, you can decide to turn your blog into a membership website with the appropriate plug-in or you can pre-set 100 blog posts and have a plug-in deliver it sequentially so that every time your visitors  visit your blog, they see something new. Another example of what plug-ins can do is to let you know who visits your site, most viewed articles, insert social media functionalities like twitter or face book etc.

Now that you have learnt about blogs, it’s time to put the knowledge to practice and actually do it yourself. The first thing you need to do is to register a domain name and get a webhosting package. You can register your domain name at http://007names.com or http://dynadot.com. Both sites accept Nigerians and you can even get a visa card that works on both at http://epaymonster.com

Next is your webhosting. Go to http://wisdomporch.com and on the sidebar of the site, you will see recommended webhosting services where you can get a starter package to get you up and running for less than $5 per month. Since you will be using this for business, you should note a few salient points as you choose your webhosting package, most important is how many domains you are allowed to run on the account. There is a package for around $8 that allows you to run unlimited domains but eventually when you start getting customers, I recommend that you go for the reseller package which is about $25 per month as this will give you a lot more flexibility.

Once your hosting account is set-up, login to the control panel, search for Fantastico Deluxe, click on it, look for Word Press on the next page, click on it and follow the instructions to have your blog up and running. The next thing will be to login to the blog’s control panel usually at www.yoursite.com/wp-admin and you start working on all the things I described earlier. As you learn all these, take specific notes of tasks that you complete that have a great influence on your job delivery and master them. Learn to do them with more speed and precision so that you can complete jobs as quickly as possible.

Next is to identify your potential customers and nail why they need your services. For instance, a Newspaper may wish to have an online presence and with word press, you can easily solve the problem. Same goes for TV shows or TV houses, Radio Stations and a Pastor who has followers and wish to send out a message daily can easily login to the authoring section of the site, put in a message, publish it and have almost the whole world read the message immediately. The same applies to Authors, Musicians, Public Office Holders, and Politicians etc.

Once you have your angle on each set of unique potential customer, next is to create a list of everyone you know now that needs your services and anyone you know, who knows someone you know but don’t start contacting them yet.

Create samples for each category of customers and make it as “Bam” as possible, then you can start contacting them and making your offers. Now, be prepared to handle rejection. Some of these customers don’t understand the power of the internet yet and won’t believe you when you speak with them. To them you are just another conman or a “Yahoo Brother” in the church, so offer to do them the site and let them use it free for two or three months. If they like it, they pay, if not, they owe you nothing. Of course, all the job will take from you is less than N3, 000 and trust me; I have seen people pay far more in their quest to get a job. Besides, there is a basic premise that when you start using something, it becomes tough to detach yourself from it. For example, you are O.K. with going around without a car until you get one. Once you get a car, it becomes irrational to you to go around without one.

So, once they start using the website, letting go will be a little tough especially, when you strike gold and they make the mistake of putting it on books, flyers or media and in this job, you hold the ace. All you need to do is login suspend the site or lock it up, so until they pay your fee, no access.

Well, I don’t need to say much about debt collection. I am sure you will find a way to enforce it. However, on a parting note, it is always best to get an upfront payment that at least cover the cost of building the site so that if you end up not being paid, you don’t lose and don’t forget to always place your link at the bottom of all the sites so that any job you do can send you even more potential customers through exposure.

See you at the Top
